Summary | Zerubbabel shows the faith of the parents, who called him "stranger in Babylon". The first revival is led by Zerubbabel, one who is disconnected from this world. In chapter 2 the list of names of the remnant that returned shows how "remnant-conscious" God is. The chapter ends with Levites who dropped the LORD as their inheritance for the inheritance of Barzillai whose hope was in supernatural recognition through the priest's Urim and Thummim. |
