Union With Christ 1 - The Head |
All union is based upon this great principle: the Lord is a giver and we are receivers. Ed introduces the weekend conference of how the head of the human body illustrates union with Christ. As the brain is both the commander and enabler of the body, so is Christ to His body, the church. "Look at the power of the picture," Ed encourages, "and multiply that by infinity." |

Union With Christ 2 - The Soil |
Do you want to grow as a Christian? The way you enter the Christian life is the same way you grow in the Christian life. There is no greater maturity outside of Jesus Christ, your "soil". |

Union With Christ 3 - The Vine |
A vine branches but it doesn't have branches; therefore, the vine is everything! Basically what Jesus is teaching through this illustration is "I am everything and you are joined to Me." Abiding in Jesus is every time you believe in Him. Fruit is the manifestation of the life of the Vine. |

Union With Christ 4 - The Husband |
Marriage is God's greatest illustration of union with Christ. Jesus loves the church with her many faults and imperfections, and as He loves us, we are transformed by His love. As is typified with the marriage union, fruit always results when believers are joined to Christ. Don't seek after fruit; fruit only comes by going after Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom. |
