| Summary | An incomplete temple dishonors the Lord. The enemies of the remnant dug up crud from long ago that caused the people of God to quit. This spiritual principle of condemnation is addressed by the young prophet Zechariah in his vision of Joshua the high priest standing before the LORD in dirty clothes. What encourages us to rebuild the temple is knowing how thorough our cleansing is in Jesus Christ, such that if the totality of God's vision looked at us, He would find not even a trace of sin! |
