| Summary | The book of Nehemiah closes out the historical section of the Old Testament and gives us one great picture to prepare you for the coming of Christ. God was restoring His testimony on the earth through the rebuilding of the temple and the wall. The message of Nehemiah is that God wants to burden and involve us in the rebuilding of the wall (progressive knowledge of God). Nehemiah had no idea whatsoever when he was a comfortable Christian in Shushan and he said yes to the burden of God how greatly he was going to be used! |
