Summary | Chapter 9 shows a great contrast between spiritual eyesight and spiritual blindness. Spiritual blindness is progressive, moving from ignorance to willful ignorance to unteachableness. The childlike spirit is open minded to truth from anybody and close minded to error. The discourse of our Lord Jesus at the Feast of Dedication in chapter 10 shows Christ as the Good Shepherd. We'll never see how great God is until we see how frail we are (like sheep). |
