Summary | God's war on Egypt was exposing the impotency of idols. The underlying principle of the plague of boils had to do with God's blessings coming because of our sacrifices, services or self-denials. The plague of hail exposed the idolatry of trusting in that which is natural not supernatural. The locust plague attacked the idolatry of trusting in our own resources. |
